Fans of Downton Abbey and The Crown will get to experience the hit television shows through the Canadian Automotive Museum’s 20th century British automobile collection. The tour will highlight cars similar to those used in the shows and will explore class differences that existed during the 1910s through the 1960s. November 9 2019.

Commemorate Remembrance Day at the Concert of Remembrance, an evening of music, videos and remarks to remember and honour those who have served and currently serve in the armed forces. There will be a military display to view prior to the concert, at intermission and afterwards. Admission is free however donations are welcomed for Ontario Regiment Museum, Oshawa Civic Band, Young Singers, O’Neill Chamber Choir and Wounded Warriors Canada and will be divided evenly between these 5 groups. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 606 is hosting a Remembrance Day Parade & Service beginning at 10:45 am with a parade from the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex in Pickering to the cenotaph located in Esplanade Park. Service will include a wreath laying, hymns, and moment of silence. November 10 2019.
