Visit The LivingRoom Community Art Studio in Oshawa for the opening reception of Colourful Whisperings, an exhibit and sale of original mixed media visual art and sculpture created by local artist Mercury Ferguson. Each piece in the exhibit tells a story, and contains a kind of magic that Mercury alone knows how to capture and convey. The Garnet Rickards Centre in Bowmanville is hosting the Ontario Powerlifting and Bench Press Championships! The strongest men and women in Ontario will battle to be the best and go to the Canadian Nationals. Ages range from 16 – 80 and over 200 athletes from every corner of Ontario. Come out and see world level athletes squat, bench press and deadlift. Nov. 2&3.
After 4 years of waiting, the Jagdpanzer 38t has arrived at the Ontario Regiment Museum in Oshawa! Join them for a special reveal ceremony and two “Tank Talks” on this interesting military vehicle this Saturday. Get up close and see this iconic military vehicle in person!
