What’s On Oshawa Weekend

It’s time for Bikes on Bond, when the streets of Oshawa filled with motorcycle fans. This free family friendly event offers something for everyone – entertainment, vendors, and lots motorcycle fans from across Canada. Aug. 10 2019. 11 am. Downtown Oshawa.

Only available to the public 10 days a year, Parkwood Estate NHS’ Basement Tours end this weekend! Tours run between 10:30 am and 5pm until August 11. $15 p/p.

Head to the Canadian Automotive Museum for Kids Day, a glamorous movie-themed day of crafts, scavenger hunts, family-friendly tours, and a Hollywood photo shoot fit for the stars! No reservations required. Regular admission rates apply, kids under 5 and members free. This program is recommended for ages 3-10. August 10 2019. 10 am to 4 pm.

The Ontario Regiment Museum is hosting Tank Saturday – Desert Warfare! Admission includes access to the museum that houses artifacts, medals, weapons and uniforms covering 150+ years of military history from the Fenian Raids of 1866 to the conflicts of today. Explore the new Military Vehicle Conservation Centre with over 60 military vehicles and Tanks on display. Head to Port Perry for the 5th Annual Craft Beer Festival! Enjoy Craft Beers from around Ontario, Cider and a featured distillery! Delicious local food fare, GIANT board games and live music. Come out for an afternoon by the lake! August 10 2019. 12 pm.

Bring your appetite to the Pickering Food Truck Festival! You’ll want to bring your friends and kids to Esplanade Park for some unbelievable food! We’re transforming the park to a foodie haven, jam-packed with a children’s village, beer garden and live entertainment stage. As always, admission is free. August 9-11 2019.
