The Driftwood Theatre’s Bard’s Bus Tour stops at Parkwood Estate to perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This summer, Driftwood Theatre celebrates 25 years of The Bard’s Bus Tour by revisiting Shakespeare’s most magical, musical story. Four lovers and one band of hapless mechanicals wander into the forest of Arden one fateful night, only to have their lives forever changed by the denizens of the faery realm. A magical adventure of musical proportions, Driftwood Theatre’s A (musical) Midsummer Night’s Dream is sure to delight the hearts of audiences of all ages. July 20 2019. 7:30 pm. This Saturday, learn how to repair broken home appliances, electronics, jewellery, bicycles, clothing, and more at the Oshawa Public Library’s free Repair Café! Grab a lawn chair and join The Oshawa Civic Band at the Oshawa Museum for an afternoon of brass band music for the fifth annual Music in the Gardens. This event is free and is presented in partnership between the Oshawa Museum and the Oshawa Civic Band. The Oshawa Civic Band is a traditional British brass band, Oshawa’s oldest group and a favourite of Col. R. S. McLaughlin. The event will run rain or shine. July 20 2019. 1:30 pm. Oshawa Museum.
