Where to Swim for Free in Oshawa

Head to Lakeview Park Beach where Lake Ontario is free for everyone to take a dip!  Supervised swim areas are patrolled by City of Oshawa lifeguards daily, however, check to see if Durham Region Health Department has deemed the water safe for swimming before you head out.

City of Oshawa’s Rotary Pool (1626 Simcoe Street North) is free for leisure swimming all summer long! Visit the City of Oshawa website for the swim schedule.

There are plenty of free splash pads for kids in the City of Oshawa, and they’re open daily until early September!  Find one here.

Remember, City of Oshawa indoor and outdoor pools are open daily during summer months, and admission is reasonably priced (a family of four can swim for around $10.  Click here for the full recreation swimming schedules.   In extreme heat, outdoor pool hours may extend until dusk.

Borrow a Recreation Pass from one of the branches of the Oshawa Public Library! Use the pass for free admission to Leisure Swimming at any of the City of Oshawa pools.
