Head to the Whitby Courthouse Theatre for the Canadian premiere of Murder in the First.  Inspired by an actual event, Murder in the First is a gripping courtroom drama that exposes an undercurrent of injustice and hypocrisy throughout the federal justice system. Take the kids to a blacklight puppet show at Simcoe Street United Church! The show is free, but donations to the puppet repair fund are welcome. April 13 2019. 2:00 pm, 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm. 66 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa. FREE. 

Bring the kids to the Pet Valu Bowmanville Clarington Centre, for a wildlife experience like no other! Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue will be there with some of their animal ambassadors to help educate children and adults about local wildlife and give some great tips on what to do if you find wild animals! Soper Creek is Clarington’s only wildlife rescue. Although this is a free event, donations are always welcome and needed! April 13 2019. 9 am to 2 pm. 2379 Highway 2, Bowmanville. FREE, but donations are welcome. 

The Canadian Automotive Museum is hosting a Springtime Open Car Tour! It’s your chance to check out the museum’s favourite open top cars as part of their springtime gallery tour. April 13 2019. 1 pm. 99 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa. $12/adults, $10 students and seniors, $6 youth, 5 and under Free.

Pine Ridge Model Railroaders Club are hosting their annual open house! Check out their new track layouts, plus stop by the modeling demonstration table and see how they build towns, scenery and track details to scale! April 13 2019. 10 am to 4 pm. 32 Wilson Road North. Adults $3.00 Children under 14 $1.00 children under 5 are FREE. Cash only at the door! 

Want to try speed skating? The Durham Speed Skating Club is hosting a free open house! They supply the skates – just bring a helmet and gloves! Ages 6+. April 14 2019. 10 am to 12 pm. Pre-registration required! Email name, age and shoe size to info@durhamspeedskatingclub.ca

The Original Harlem Globetrotters are preparing for their action packed 2019 World Tour with a stop at the Tribute Communities Centre!
