Darlington Provincial Park A short drive east of Oshawa, this campground is great for beginners. There are three different campgrounds to choose from, and sites to accommodate all types of camping equipment, from tents to large RVs and trailers. Rouge Park Campground Located on the very outskirts of Toronto, the Glen Rouge urban campground is currently managed by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. On the banks of the Rouge River, it’s easily accessible by both the 401 and the 407 highways. The campground includes a sandy beach, children’s playground, hiking trails, showers, washrooms, and accommodates tents, trailers, and RVs. Check out the rates here. 7450 Kingston Rd, Toronto.
Cedar Park Resort Head east to Bowmanville where families can find camping for tent-trailers, trailers or RV sites by the night, by the week, or by the month (sorry, no tent camping here).
