The Ontario Regiment Museum hosts Tank Saturday: Canada at War! Driftwood Theatre kicks off the annual Bard on the Bus Tour with an opening night performance of Shakespeare’s Rosalynde (or, As You Like It), at Parkwood Estate! Rosalynde escapes into the forest after her life is threatened. There, she embarks upon a bold journey of self-discovery and love, learning that to carve your own path, sometimes you need to break the rules. Bring your own blankets and chairs! Paint the Park at Donovan Recreation Complex! Check out live graffiti painting,  a live DJ – Hip Hop Authority, an |Art Market with local street art vendors, plus sticker art and trading with sticker artist Andres Musta and Jozef Tomaszewski, learn graffiti writing techniques with artist Paul Paget, make your own buttons with Culture Counts, Urban Art for Social Change Students (U.A.S.C) from R.S. McLaughlin C.V.I will help visitors create street art using stencils and water based “spray paint”, plus interactive activities hosted by The LivingRoom Community Art Studio. It’s the 5th Annual Durham Craft Beer Festival, featuring a premier selection of Ontario Craft Brewers , the Durham Craft Beer Festival is a celebration of local talent, ingredients, and passion!  VIP entrance opens at 11 am, general admission opens at 12:30. Each guest will receive sampling tokens that can be used for beer or food and an official Durham Craft Beer Festival sample glass to use throughout the event and take home afterward. Extra sampling tokens are available for $2 each.  July 14 2018. $25 advance, $30 at the door. Last call at 7:30 pm, gates close at 8 pm. Catch a performance of We Will Rock You at the UOIT Regent Theatre! We Will Rock You tells the story of a group of Bohemians who struggle to restore the free exchange of thought, fashion, and live music in a distant future where everyone dresses, thinks and acts the same. Musical instruments and composers are forbidden, and rock music is all but unknown.  This hilarious futurist comedy is based around more than 24 of Queen’s biggest hit songs including We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, Somebody To Love, Killer Queen, Don’t Stop Me Now, Under Pressure, Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust and of course, We Will Rock You.
