The Oshawa Little Theatre’s production of Beauty and the Beast closes this weekend! The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. It’s time for Girls Take Flight at the Oshawa Municipal Airport!  This is a free aviation event presented by the First Canadian Ninety‑Nines, and Durham Flight Centre. Check out aviation activities, get information about Aviation and Aerospace Careers, watch presentations by inspiring women of aviation, get up close and personal with some cool aircraft! Durham College (DC) is challenging Grade 11 and 12 students to put their recipes to the test at the fourth annual Epic Mac ‘n’ Cheese Competition!  Everyone is welcome to taste test the recipes and vote for their favourite!
