Swiss Chalet Sure, it’s a chain.  But if there’s one thing Swiss Chalet knows, it’s how to keep their diners happy.  The Chalet came out as a top contender for best ribs in Oshawa, offering grilled-to-order side, back and BBQd dishes in a variety of sizes. Baton Rouge  It may be in Whitby, but we’ve included Baton Rouge because it was the most contested entry in the race, with voters either loving or hating it  So you be the judge – 10 oz will set you back $22, and 16 oz will cost you a cool $28.  Location:  25 Consumers Drive.

Buster Rhinos  Everyday is rib day at Buster Rhinos, and the menu boasts that their ribs are ranked one of the best in Ontario – dry rubbed and cooked low and slow over real hardwood, with a choice of side and sauce.  Location:  28 King Street East.
