What’s On Oshawa Weekend April 13-15 2018

Catch the beloved story of Beauty and the Beast, live on stage at the Oshawa Little Theatre! Belle, a young woman, and the Beast, who is in reality a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out! If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. April 13 & 14 2018. 7:30 pm. 62 Russett Avenue, Oshawa. $28.  

Come out for a fun afternoon and learn how to create your very own giant 3D paper flower display! Personally Papered will teach you a few different techniques and styles. All your materials and tools will be supplied. Each guest will get to take home their flower set, plus a flower and leaf template!  All participants should have enough time to complete a set of 3 giant flowers and leaves to take home. There will be light refreshments and sweets served! They’re preparing for their action packed 2018 World Tour, and a star-studded roster will have fans on the edge of their seats to witness the ball handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment that thrills fans of all ages. The Whitby Courthouse Theatre presents The Dixie Swim Club, the story of five Southern women whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, that set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids, and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives.
