Tartan Tavern (555 Rossland Road East) It’s under new ownership, but this Oshawa pub has been around for EVER. Check out their Tartan wings that come plain or breaded with your choice of sauce mild, medium, hot, kamikaze, honey garlic, tequila lime and habanero.

The Crooked Uncle (1180 Simcoe Street) The Crooked family recipe has won 13 (and counting) Best Wing awards and has a wing deal every Wednesday night!

Simcoe House Ales and Grill (2200 Simcoe Street North) Traditional pubs wing and grub on the Durham College campus, plus half price wings all day Wednesday.

Quick Flame Restaurant & Bar (199 Wentworth St W.) Serving the community for over 50 years, Quick Flame serves  both naked and breaded wings in mild, medium, hot, suicide, sweet chili, honey garlic, asian hot or jerk, plus two dry rubs.

Waltzing Weasel (300 Taunton Road East) Voted best wings in Durham at Big Brothers and Big Sisters Wingfest, but try for yourself on Monday when wings are $5.99 after 3 pm.

Bull Dog Pub (600 Grandview Street)  This pub scored low points for atmosphere but made up for it in the wings department.  Breaded wings are served by the pound with a choice of sauce, including Curry Pineapple, Red Thai or Suicide.

Wild Wing (1155 Ritson Road North) If you’re searching for sauce outside of the traditional hot, medium or mild, you’ll find it at Wild Wing.  With flavours like Korean BBQ, smoked applewood, or sour cream and onion (wait, what?), there’s something for every taste.
