2017 Oshawa Christmas Gift Guide

Looking for a few last minute gifts? Check out these local shops for made in Oshawa goodies:

Head to Northern Lights Co. for beautiful soy candles and gift boxes, plus handmade Christmas tree ornaments.  They’re our go-to for hostess gifts (the Bayberry scent is our favourite), and at $15 for a large candle, they’re perfectly priced.

Did you know that a high end clothing line is manufactured right here? FRÈRE DU NORD’s core principle is manufacturing in Canada, and their factory is located in Oshawa.  FDN makes small batches of beautiful clothes, and each garment has been produced by a single person, who signs the garment hang-tag.  There are still a few styles available, but don’t wait as they expect most to sell out.

The Four Corners Supply Company is an Oshawa-based heritage apparel company that draws inspiration from Oshawa’s past and present.  100% Canadian made, t-shirts and hats for men and women are perfect for everyday casual.

Don’t believe the website, because Aide Bodycare is fully stocked! Visit their shop at 463 Bond Street East in Oshawa for handmade soaps in scents like mistletoe and sweet orange, lip balms, shaving supplies, and much more.

Oshawa’s museums and galleries also sell unique items (many of them from local artists and vendors!) Visit the gift shops at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Oshawa Museum, Canadian Automotive Museum, and Parkwood Estate for lots of local goodies.
