Love cars? Here’s our everything-you-need-to-know guide to Autofest in Oshawa:
The 24th annual Autofest roars into Oshawa this weekend, promising two days of cars, cars and more cars!
On August 26 and 27, 2017, Oshawa’s Lakeview Park will be full of classic and muscle cars, trucks, vendors, and competitions like Muscle Mania, Up High Down Low Truck Nationals, Old Skool Reunion, plus cash prizes and giveaways. Registration begins August 25 2017 at 10 am, and click here for the full 2017 schedule.
Want to show your car? Fill out the online registration form and return to one of the registration points listed, along with a cheque for $45. Coming from out of town? Click here for a list of the 2017 local host hotels – and don’t forget to ask for the Autofest rate!
Check out Kars on King from 3 pm to 9:30 pm in downtown Oshawa on Friday, August 25, 2017! Then head to Lakeview Park for Autofest on Saturday morning: Exhibitor gates open at 7 am on August 26 2017, and the spectator gates open at 9am. And while you’re checking out the more than 1300 cars on display, don’t miss free car seminars, vendors, craft area, and Poker Run.
Parking is free, but due to the popularity of the event, may be limited. If driving, go early for the best chance of finding a nearby spot. If you are heading to Lakeview Park or Lakeview Park Beach but aren’t attending Autofest, be aware that the event will take up most of the park space, and most access points to the park will be closed off by fencing.
Cost: Day Pass is $12
