Lace up your running shoes! It’s the annual Durham 1/4 Marathon supporting homeless youth at The Refuge. Over 800 runners and 1200 participants are expected, so don’t miss it! Sounds too hard? This is an “out-only” run, which means runners face a net downhill route along the scenic creeks and waterfront vistas finishes at the beautiful shores of Lake Ontario. Learn how to be water safe at Drowning Prevention Day, where the City of Oshawa is hosting a number of events at local pools to raise awareness of water safety.
