Local group We Grow Food is looking for volunteers to help with Group Clean-Up Day at Oshawa’s newest community garden, Alexandra’s Bounty! Please bring rakes, shovels, wheel barrows, garbage bags, drills, lots of cardboard for the base of the new gardens. There’s lots of work to do, including building compost bins, finish beds, installing ground beds and donor plaques, raking, and planting berry bushes. April 29 2017.
