What’s On Oshawa Weekend April 7-9 2017

The Oshawa Little Theatre presents Legally Blond,  The Musical! Follow the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. This action-packed musical explodes on the stage with memorable songs and dynamic dances. Equal parts hilarious and heart-warming; this musical is so much fun it should be illegal! It’s Adventure Time at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery for RMG Fridays, when the gallery buzzes with live musical performances, interactive art experiences, open gallery spaces, social mingling and more. Suitable for music lovers, youth, families, date nights, and culture-vultures. Cash bar.  April 7 2017. 7 pm to 10 pm. 72 Queen Street, Oshawa. FREE. 

The Moustache Club hosts the Professors of Funk for the official RMG Fridays After Party! April 7 2017. 10 pm to 1 am. 15 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa. 

Head to Durham College for the Epic Mac ‘n Cheese Competition and Pop-Up Bake Shops! Mac ‘n Cheese people’s choice tasting and voting runs 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, with awards at 1 pm. Pop-up Bake Shop starts at 9:30 and ends at 1 pm, or when sold out! Go collage crazy at the LivingRoom Community Art Studio! Celebrate the Oshawa Historic Society’s Diamond Anniversary with a special Victorian Tea, hosted at the Oshawa Museum. April 8 2017.
