Where to commemorate Remembrance Day in Oshawa:
Visit the Ontario Regiment Museum to learn more about Canadians who have served in Durham Region over the past 150 years, and meet veterans of the Ontario Regiment from the Second World War to Afghanistan. The City of Oshawa, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43 and Royal Canadian Branch 637 will host the annual Remembrance Day Parade, starting at the R.S. McLaughlin Armouries, and finishing at the Memorial Park Cenotaph for service at 11 am. November 11, 2016. Parade starts at 10:25 am.
The Durham College and UOIT campus community is invited to join students and employees for Remembrance Day services in the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre, gyms 1 and 2. 2000 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa. 10 am to 11:30 am.
