It’s your last chance to enjoy Yoga in the Garden at the Oshawa Museum! Breath deep, take a moment, and do a sun salutation in the summer sun in the Museum’s historic gardens. Don’t miss the 4th Annual Touch-a-Truck event! Get up close to 40 vehicles of all shapes and sizes, and all ages are welcome! 99 Athol Street East. 5 pm to 8 pm. FREE (but some activities may have a cost).
Start a weekend full of cars at Kars on King! Head downtown to this free event where everyone can see hundreds of classic cars from across North America. No registration required, open to all makes 1986 and older. Check out live entertainment, and Touch-a-Truck at the GM Centre nearby. Downtown Oshawa. 3 pm – 9:30 pm. FREE.

The 23rd Annual Autofest hits Lakeview Park where car buffs can enjoy two days of cars, cars and more cars! Exhibitor gates open at 7 am, spectator gates open at 9. Enjoy live entertainment, shopping, competitions and chances to win cash and prizes! Lakeview Park. 9 am to 6 pm. $12 for a day pass.
Get crafty at The LivingRoom Community Art Studio! Learn how to make chalkboard paint, and turn almost any surface into a chalkboard with community creator Tammy DeLuca! Participants will make a simple chalkboard project that can be taken home that day. 149 Simcoe Street North. 12 pm. ALL ages and abilities are welcome, Suggested donation of $10 or Pay-What-You-Can to cover material costs and support the studio project. Don’t miss the 3rd Annual Urban Farm Tour and Harvest Feast hosted by We Grow Food! Tour Oshawa’s most interesting and beautiful vegetable gardens, and meet the local urban farmers who care for them. With over two dozen gardens to tour, you’ll visit local community and neighbourhood gardens, residents’ gardens, and the gardens at Durham College’s Centre for Food! The tour will be followed by a Harvest Feast at Memorial Park in downtown Oshawa, featuring local, farm fresh produce. The tour will go ahead rain or shine, so dress for the weather! Note the tour is self-guided. 10 am to 4 pm, Harvest Feast at 5 pm. Memorial Park, 25 John Street W. $5 for a garden map, $25 for a family + Harvest Feast, $10 for single + Harvest Feast.
