Join the Durham Yogi Community for a free yoga session in the Oshawa Museum’s historic garden! Just bring your mat, no registration required. 1450 Simcoe Street South. 10 am to 11 am.  FREE. 

Catch live music at the Moustache Club, where Hippie Crippler and Straight to the Hips hit the stage at 9:30 pm.  15 Simcoe Street North. Doors at 9 pm.  

Try your hand (or feet!) at ballroom dancing! Join Rhythm Dynamics Dance Inc. for a night filled with great music and lots of dancing. Free ballroom dance lesson from 7:30pm to 8pm, then dance the night away! Treat your kids to a viewing of the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, part of Cineplex Family Favourites! 1351 Grandview Street North. 11am. $2.99 per ticket.  

Children ages 5-12 are invited to the Canadian Automotive Museum for Kids Day! Enjoy car-themed tours, crafts, and or create a custom licence plate.  99 Simcoe Street South. 1 pm -3 pm.  $5 per child, parents/guardians free. 

Celebrate McLaughlin Day at Parkwood Estate National Historic Site! Enjoy an exclusive, behind the scenes tour of the Estate’s basement secrets (and it’s only offered once a year!), so don’t miss out! Tours run on demand, 10:30 am to 5 pm Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.  $10 per person, regardless of age.  Recommended for ages 10+.  270 Simcoe Street North.  Note there are stairs that need to be negotiated to access the basement spaces of the mansion.

Head to The LivingRoom Community Art Studio to create a beautiful cement Garden Paving stone or plaque with community creator Kathleen Finley! It’s recommended that children under 12 have someone to assist them in this process that, once learned, can be easily replicated at home.  149 Simcoe Street South.  12 pm – 2 pm.  All ages and abilities welcome. Easily offended? This comedy show ain’t for you. The Slick A** Comedy Show #5 returns to the Thornton Arms Pub and Grill for a night of adult laughs, hosted by Eric Doucet and headlined by Anthony Sinagoga.
