Head to Dagmar Ski Resort for 5k Foam Fest! What’s Foam Fest? It’s a 5K family run through, you guessed it, foam, mud, obstacles, waterslides and much more! Come dressed up in a crazy costume and get totally muddy. Kids 8 and up can participate in the run, and children 9 and under have free all-day access to festival areas (as do all participants), including a kids fun zone with a climbing wall, drop zone, bouncy castle, slides, junior obstacle course and much, much more! Take the kids to see The Odd Squad: The Movie at Cineplex Family Favourites! In this feature-length Odd Squad film, a rival group of adults called Weird Team, arrive with a gadget that fixes any odd problem. As a result, Odd Squad is run out of business and all the agents are forced to disband and go back to their lives as regular kids. Using math skills and teamwork, the kids discover Weird Team isn’t actually solving problems, but just covering them up. 1351 Grandview Street North. 11 am. $2.99 per ticket.
Learn how to make your own almond milk at the LivingRoom Community Art Studio! Artist and Raw Food advocate Sunny will teach everything you want to know about the process, while guiding you through the creation of your very own Nut Milk and/or Sprouting Bag that you can take home!
