Hot? Cool down without spending a penny at these free swims in Oshawa:
Head to Lakeview Park Beach where beautiful Lake Ontario is free for everyone to take a dip! Supervised swim areas are patrolled by City of Oshawa lifeguards from June 20 to September 5 daily from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm. However, check to see if Durham Region Health Department has deemed the water safe for swimming, because high temperatures and excessive rainfall can drive up E Coli bacteria in the water. Avoid disappointment by checking the Durham Region Health Department website before you head out, or by calling 1-888-777-9613.
City of Oshawa’s Rotary Pool (1626 Simcoe Street North) and Camp Samac Pool (275 Conlin Road East), are open August 1, 2016 for holiday free swims! Visit the City of Oshawa website for the swim schedule.
