Goodlife Fitness Goodlife Fitness is one of Canada’s biggest fitness chains and has two locations in Oshawa, one at the Oshawa Centre that’s open 24/4, and a women’s only location at Harmony and Taunton above the Superstore. Both offer child-minding, free weights, strength training, classes, cardio equipment and tanning, plus much more. 1385 Harmony Rd North, 419 King St West.  

YMCA The Durham Family YMCA offers fitness classes, aquatics, free weights and strength training, but it’s also a charity, so members help support local initiatives and build healthy communities.  Pay monthly or yearly, and childcare is available.  99 Mary Street North. 

LA Fitness This American-owned fitness chain has over 800 locations throughout the US and Canada, and LA Fitness Oshawa boasts a 25 metre pool, hot tub, sauna, cycling room, fitness classes, generous strength training area, plus cardio equipment and low-cost childcare for members to use while in the facility.  1189 Ritson Road North, Five Points Mall Plaza.  

City of Oshawa Fitness Centres Check out the City of Oshawa’s three fitness centres, which feature a variety of cardio, strength training machines and free weights. Membership includes access to the pool, sauna and hot tub (not available at the Civic Recreation Complex Fitness Centre), and, for those who enjoy fitness classes, can be customised with the purchase of a Group Fitness Add-on.  Available at the South Oshawa Community Centre, Civic Recreation Centre and Legends Centre.  

Ultimate Fitness Ultimate Fitness offers state-of-the-art equipment & cardio area in both main gym & woman only sections, steam rooms, group classes, plus morning and evening daycare.  Motor City Boxing Club and Crossfit 725 on location at 725 Bloor St W.  725 Bloor Street West, 69 Taunton Road West.
