Celebrate Mother’s Day with a Victorian-style tea at the Oshawa Museum in Lakeview Park. Moms and guests will be treated to homemade scones, traditional Victorian tea sandwiches and a variety of teas, then enjoy a tour of the houses that make up the Museum.  Reservations required.  $15 per person. Celebrate Mother’s Day at OPG Second Sundays, at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery! Children and their caregivers can create an unique tile mosaic, a beautiful card and gift wrap for a special person in their life.  72 Queen Street. 1 pm to 3 pm.  Free, no registration required.

Pilars Catering and the Robert McLaughlin Gallery are hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch at the gallery restaurant, Arthur’s on the 4th.  Seatings at 10:30 am or 12:30 pm.  Reservations required, email czamulinski@rmg.on.ca.  72 Queen Street.

Do you have a mother that loves cars? Bring her by the Canadian Automotive Museum on Mother’s Day for a special guided tour of the galleries.  The tour will highlight cars that were owned and driven by remarkable women. Tours are included with regular admission.  RSVP online.  Tour starts at 1:00 pm.  99 Simcoe Street South.  Adults $8. Children $5, under 5s free.
