Guide to Durham Region’s Santa Clause Parades

Csantaan’t wait for jolly old Saint Nick and his reindeer to come to town?  Don’t miss our guide to Durham Region’s Santa Claus Parades:

Kicking off the holiday parade season is the Bowmanville Santa Claus Parade!  This year’s theme is the Twelve Days of Christmas, so head to downtown Bowmanville on November 14, 2015, from 10:30 am to 12 pm for an early dose of holiday cheer.

Oshawa’s Santa Claus Parade arrives on November 21, 2015 at 6 pm, but this year, there’s a new route! The parade will start at King Street West at Gibbon Street, travel west down King Street, turn at Centre Street, and head west on Bond Street back to Gibbon Street.  Need a map?  Click here.

Head to downtown Ajax on November 28, 2015 to watch Santa’s Magical Parade of Lights from 6 pm to 9 pm, then watch Christmas Tree Lighting in Heritage Square, and enjoy a warm-up party with kids crafts and hot chocolate, hosted by the Ajax Public Library.

Whitby Santa Claus Parade will be held on December 5, 2015 from 10 am to 12 pm, on Brock Street, in downtown Whitby.

The third annual Courtice Santa Claus Parade’s theme is Santa’s Workshop!  Join the “Dash down Nash” on December 6, 2015, from 12 pm to 2 pm.  The parade starts at Townline Road and continues down Nash Road to George Reynolds.
