Celebrate Halloween at the Eastview Boys and Girls Club’s annual Halloween Party and Haunted Walk! Play games, enjoy treats and make spooky crafts. Date: October 23. Location: 250 Beatrice Street East. Time: 7 pm to 9 pm. Cost: $2.
It’s a Halloween Art Party at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery for OPG Second Sundays! Decorate treat bags, make masks, and craft creepy creatures. Date: October 25. Location: 72 Queen Street. Time: 1 pm to 3 pm. Cost: FREE, drop-in family program.
Victorian Mourning Traditions are the topic of this month’s Tea and Talk at the Oshawa Community Museum. Enjoy a light tea, learn how the Victorians celebrated death, and tour the exhibit Mourning After. Date: October 25. Location: 1450 Simcoe Street South, at Lakeview Park. Time: 1 pm to 3 pm. Do you dare dine at the Creepy Crawly Family Cafe? Make a family reservation and munch on bizarre treats while listening to scary stories and eerie music. Date: October 31. Everyone needs a Halloween mask, so head to The Living Room Community Art Studio for everything you need to make a scary, funny or just plain unique paper bag masterpiece. Date: October 31.
