On October 23, don’t miss the Durham Region Brewers Plate – a unique outdoor food and drink experience at Purple Woods Conservation Area’s Heritage Hall that celebrates local producers.
Hosted by Chef Alex Page, Chef/Owner Entertained Culinary Event Management, and Chef Daniel Bresca, Chef/Owner Farm & Wild Catering, the evening includes a carefully prepared four-course dinner enhanced by local craft brews from Whitby’s Brock Street Brewery and Bowmanville’s Manantler Brewing Co..
Following the meal, guests will be taken on a lantern lit walk to the Purple Woods Sugar Shack for a three-part maple syrup tasting, and a star-gazing session with the Durham Region Astronomical Association. The evening begins at 6:30 pm and runs until 10:30 pm. Tickets are $65, tax and handling fee are extra.
