Friday, July 3

Visit the Robert McLaughlin Gallery for RMG Fridays!  Browse the galleries, enjoy live music, have a drink at the cash bar, and chat with local artists Monique Ra Brent and Teri Lipman who will be on hand to discuss their work. Location:  72 Queen Street.  Time:  7 pm to 10 pm.  Cost:  FREE (drinks extra)

Saturday, July 4

Missed the celebrity-packed animated film Home?  You can catch it at the Legends Centre branch of the Oshawa Public Library, and bring the whole family, because it’s rated G.  Location:  1661 Harmony Road North.  Time:  2 pm. Cost: FREE, but registration is required.

Sunday, July 5

The Oshawa Community Museum is reviving an Oshawa tradition at Sunday FUNday!  Grandpa’s Picnic is back, in honour of the picnics thrown by Thomas Henry, of Henry House.  Make ice cream, play croquet, and take part in lots of other fun activities.  Location:  1450 Simcoe Street South.  Time:  12 pm to 4 pm.  Cost:  FREE (but donations are welcome!)
