Where to Eat Ribs in Oshawa

Buffalo Style Wings  Despite the name, Buffalo Style Wings also serves ribs, anywhere from 1/2 pound for $6.95 to 2 pounds for $21.99.  But you’ll have to eat them at home (or in your car in the parking lot  – we don’t judge), because the menu is take-out only.  Location:  800 King St W, Oshawa

St. Louis Bar and Grill Rib enthusiasts can get a half rack with a choice of sauces, including the exotic, east meets west inspired Maple Vindaloo.  There are two locations in Oshawa, one at 1812 Simcoe Street North, the other at 580 King Street West.

Swiss Chalet Sure, it’s a chain.  But if there’s one thing Swiss Chalet knows, it’s how to keep their diners happy.  The Chalet came out as a top contender for best ribs in Oshawa, offering grilled-to-order side, back and BBQd dishes in a variety of sizes. Locations: 555 Laval Drive, or 1389 Harmony Road North

Baton Rouge  It may be in Whitby, but we’ve included Baton Rouge because it was the most contested entry in the race, with voters either loving or hating it  So you be the judge – 10 oz will set you back $22, and 16 oz will cost you a cool $28.  Location:  25 Consumers Drive.

Buster Rhinos  Everyday is rib day at Buster Rhinos, and the menu boasts that their ribs are ranked one of the best in Ontario – dry rubbed and cooked low and slow over real hardwood, with a choice of side and sauce.  Locations:  28 King Street East, and 30 Taunton Road East.
